By default the theme just shows links or pages there, or you can turn it off entirely on the 'Customise the theme' admin page. One thing that could be done is to dig into the code and add your text by hand.</p> <p>We may re-visit the theme in the near future in order to allow for some of the newer features available in WordPress, and we can make the top-right space a widget area instead. The only thing I can remember doing right before it happened is changing the name of the home page from Home to HOME. You just need to go the Reading Settings, in there you can select the appropriate options to choose which page you want as a front page.
