Where to paste Google analytics html?

    Here's another newbie question. Where do I paste the Google analytics code. Their instructions say past the code "immediately before the </body> tag of each page you are planning to track."
    Uh. . . I can find the files in the editor but don't really know what I'm looking for.

    Wordpress 2.9.1
    Caribou: 1.0.6

    I could paste it into the content for each page but seems it would be easier to put it in the page template.

    Don't bother pasting it in.

    Instead, use one of the many Google Analytics plugins that are available at http://wordpress.org/extend/
